*has* become a slighty stagnant sub-genre of dance music. What can one expect when the "sound" is centered on a specific group of people within the
Gay community, who actually relish trying to keep the "scene" exclusive (supposedly) and too expensive for most people to even experience. Of course
that's in the States.

Unbelievable. Let's see where to start with this. Of course, it's true that everything is a matter of taste, but to say something has become
stagnant is just an opinion. That may be what you think, but that doesn't mean there's any truth to it. Saying that the 'sound' is centered on a
specific group of people in the gay community is just foolish. So is every other style of music.
Also, to say people who like the circuit sound "relish keeping the scene exclusive and too expensive for most people to even experience". What is the
world are you talking about? There is nothing exclusive about going to the front door of a night club and paying cover to get in to a party where
circuit music is being played by circuit DJs. There is nothing 'exclusive' about it, (unless you don't have an ID to get in or you were banned from
the venue for some reason!!). As far as being too expensive for most people, again, I can't even figure out such a comment. Cover to most clubs and
venues where these circuit DJs are playing is usually under $20. If they are playing major events, then usually it's the promoter of the event
charging a higher amount, for the purpose of the event, and not so you can hear the DJ necessarily.
Finally, Yecin - if you are reading this, please do not believe everything you read about the way circuit music is received in the United States. I
can tell you for a fact that circuit DJs are doing just fine here and people come out in large numbers at parties, events, and regular club nights to
hear it. People will always keep putting out propaganda, but in the end, it's just their opinion, which everyone is certainly entitled to. Just be
warned that most of these statements are written as facts, which can be comical, or sometimes very disturbing.
