Hey DJs - New Year's Eve Survey

For all the DJs on here - let's see where everywhere played (club/city) and the first song you played at midnight (after Auld Lang Syne.)

I was at Serendipity/Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas and since there was a massive fireworks display - I started the year with the Wideboys remix of Katy Perry "Fireworks."

Played the Ultimix version of Pink's Raise Your Glass at about 11:55, went into Ralphi's Alternative Mix of Mariah's Auld Lang Syne right after the countdown stroke of midnight, and then played I Gotta Feeling by BEP after that...although it's now an "oldie" it definitely did the trick right after midnight!

Uptown/Downtown, Bowling Green, OH
I played the NYE edit of Shots that Lil' Jon did for his Facebook DJ group. Went into BEP-The Time after that.

Hey Ron,

I didn’t have a gig this new year’s eve but the past 2 I did a top 10 countdown. If I had had a gig this year this is what would have been my top 10:

10) Enrique / I Like It (Ultimix)
09) Katy Perry / Teenage Dream (Vandalism Le Pop Mix)
08) Toni Braxton / Make My Heart (Stereo Palma Mix)
07) Kaci Battaglia / Body Shots (Mig & Rizzo Mix)
06) Usher / O.M.G. (Disco Fries Mix)
05) Alexis Jordan / Happiness (Jump Smokers)
04) Ke$ha / Tik Tok (ULTI-reMIX)
03) Shakira / Waka Waka (Richard Cutmore Mix)
02) Black Eyed Peas / Rock That Body (Ultimix)
01) Katy Perry / California Girls (Ultimix)

I would have started the #10 video before 12 and timed it perfectly so that at the stroke of midnight the song came in at the part where Enrique sings “one love one love …”. That’s the part where the energy kicks in and I know it would have rocked the joint.
